The last hour of Eve’s shift was approaching. She collected her notes from her previous patient

and neatly arranged them for Dr. Bhatt, the patient’s primary care physician. Eve was exhausted after fourteen hours of hospital rounds but knowing that she would see Clair again gave her a boost of energy. Besides, she really wanted to have sex.

It had been over six months since she got to savor Sapphic delights, and the incredible tease from this morning had left Eve feeling ravenous. The chemistry between her and Clair was undeniable, and Eve was looking forward to exploring her body properly.

As soon as the clock hit 10:00 pm, Eve retired to the locker room to get changed. While she was finishing her rounds, she had noticed Clair packing up for the night, so Eve knew that Clair was probably home already. Mmmm, I am coming for you, Clair! Thoroughly yet quickly, Eve scrubbed her hands and changed from her scrubs to her civilian clothes. She was hoping that Clair would allow her to shower at her place. Or I could suggest that we shower together!

Clair’s night relief, Diane, was already situated at the front desk, ready for her shift. Eve passed by her on the way to the elevators. “Bye, Diane, have a good night!”

Diane replied, “Have a good night, Nurse Foster. Oh, and drive safe! The snow is coming down pretty heavy tonight.”

Eve called over her shoulder as she waited for the elevator doors to open. “Okay, good to know. Thanks, Diane. I arrived at 8:00 this morning, and the roads were clear. I’ll be sure to be extra careful.” Eve then thought about Clair, hoping that she got home safe as well.

Finally, a welcoming ding signaled that it was time to ride to the hospital lobby, and Eve could not get to the ground floor fast enough. Eve grinned to herself, grateful to be the only rider. She was marinating in a slew of fantasies and sexual energy and was not in the mood for conversation with strangers.

Upon hitting the ground floor, Eve exited through the main doors, towards the parking lot. Diane was right! The sky was a swarm of large, fluffy snowflakes, Eve’s favorite kind of snow. Christmas Eve was only a week away, and Eve knew it would definitely be a white one this year.

Eve punched Clair’s address into her GPS. She figured it would take her a bit longer with the snow, but Eve wanted to be careful on the road.

Despite the blustery conditions, Eve felt like she was glowing with adoration and attraction towards Clair. And as cold as she felt in the car, she knew that the passion between them was enough to warm Eve inside and out.

Finally, she arrived at Clair’s address and pulled into the driveway. For a split second, Eve had a minor worry that perhaps Clair had gone to bed already; it was late, and they both had long days at the hospital. But then she noticed that a light in Clair’s front window appeared to be on, and Eve felt relieved.
